National games and sports are very close. For example, the wrestling (kures) is the national sport of the Turkic people, and is often found in feasts and celebrations as “gurash” in Central Asia, in the Urals, in the Volga region, in the Caucasus, in Anatolia and in the Balkan Peninsula. Similarly, Kyrgyz “kökbörw”, Kazakhs “kökpar”, Uzbeks “köpkarï” or known as “oglak” equestrian sport has common roots. There are many examples of this sport in Anatolia and Caucasus.
Moreover, even in children’s games and toys have similarities. Game names (togyzkumalak, akterek, aksuiek, kuyrshak) and adequacy rules shows that it is a common treasure of the Turkic world.
