During the meeting, the sides discussed ways to strengthen partnership relations between the International Turkic Academy and the Republic of Uzbekistan. Darkhan Kydyrali noted in his speech that the Academy is ready to organize and implement archaeological expeditions in Uzbekistan. Saidikram Niyazhodzhaev, in his turn, highly appreciated Alisher Navoi’s collection of works published by the Academy and expressed his deep gratitude. The Ambassador of Uzbekistan in Kazakhstan shared his view that it was necessary to study rich heritage of outstanding persons common for the entire Turkic world such as Abu Nasr al-Farabi, Ahmet Yassawi, and Yusuf Balasagun. He also said that the embassy would support them. At the end of the meeting, Saidikram Niyazhodzhaev presented a collection of poems in Uzbek language by Alisher Navoi to
the Academy’s Library.
