A three-volume monograph on the study of Tatar culture was presented

The National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a presentation of the scientific monograph on “Miras-Legacy. Tatarstan-Crimea. The city of Bulgar and the study of Tatar culture in Tatarstan and Crimea in 1923-1929”.

The work published in three volumes was developed by the A.Kh.Khalikov Institute of Archeology of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan. The presentation was attended by experts of national organizations in the field of culture and education.

It should be noted that the monograph, published with the support of the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, for the first time introduces materials of the expedition, aimed at studying the cultural heritage of Tatar people, covering the Volga Bulgaria (X – XIII centuries), the Golden Horde (XIII – XVII centuries) and the ancient Tatar states (XVI – XVII centuries).

The unique work was presented by the head of the Institute of Archeology, corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences Airat Sitdikov and the scientific secretary of the Institute, candidate of historical sciences Sergey Bocharov.
