Today is the Day of Remembrance of Victims of Genocide in Azerbaijan

Today, on March 31, Azerbaijan celebrates the Day of Remembrance of Victims of Genocide.

In this regard, President of the International Turkic Academy Darkhan Kydyrali expressed special condolences to the people of Azerbaijan.

This tragic date was established in 1998 by the Decree of former President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, national leader Heydar Aliyev.

It should be noted that in March 1918, tragic events took place in Baku and Baku province, which killed many civilians. In memory of those victims, people of Azerbaijan annually hold a memorial service.
