It is worth noting that last year on June 7, on the occasion of the “Day of National Dombra” the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Kemelovich Tokayev made a statement that the dombra should be introduced as a special subject at schools. In this regard, the teaching of our sacred instrument at secondary schools became popular, and the need in a textbook on Dombyra subject occurred. The draft textbook was presented by the Head of the International Turkic Academy Darkhan Kydyrali in November last year at the reception of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
