Today, President of the International Turkic Academy Darkhan Kydyrali met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Kazakhstan Jeenbek Kulubayev.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the work being done in the framework of cooperation between the Turkic countries and exchanged views on future plans.
In turn, Darkhan Kydyrali presented the Kyrgyz ambassador a Kazakh translation of the Kyrgyz epos “Manas”.
Jeenbek Kulubayev thanked the Academy for its work in the fraternal Turkic countries and expressed support for good initiatives.
It should be noted that the International Turkic Academy had previously published a dictionary and encyclopedia of Manas epos. Holding a Manaschy festival, it has published Mulla Meder Mergenbayev’s version of the epos based on the Latin alphabet. At the beginning of the year, at the 3rd meeting of the Scientific Council of the International Turkic Academy in Baku, a plan to celebrate the 1125th anniversary of Manas was included in the list of significant days in the Turkic world in 2020, and a number of measures were taken in this direction. Among them is a new book by famous Turkic statesman, scholar Zhumagul Saadanbekov, published in Bishkek in March, entitled “Philosophy of the Manas epos” published by the International Turkic Academy.
