Today, the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY), the Turkish Language Society and the Embassy of Hungary in Turkey organized a commemoration meeting on the 130th anniversary of the birth of prominent Hungarian turkologist Gyula Nemeth.
Secretary General of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) Dusen Kaseinov, President of the International Turkic Academy Darkhan Kydyrali, Head of the Turkic Council in Hungary Janos Khovari, Chairman of the Turkish Language Society, Professor Gurer Gulsevin, Vice Speaker of the Hungarian Parliament Sándor Lezsak, Ambassador to the Republic of Turkey Victor Matis and well-known turkologists participated in the online meeting.
Speaking at the opening of the meeting, the head of the Turkic Academy Darkhan Kydyrali congratulated his colleagues on the 130th anniversary of famous Hungarian scientist Gyula Németh. In addition, the head of the Academy spoke about the work of the organization in the field of scientific cooperation between the Turkic and Hungarian peoples and wished success to the meeting.
It is worth noting that Hungary is an observer state to the International Turkic Academy.
