Darkhan Kydyrali was born on April 16, 1974 in Tulkibas district of South Kazakhstan region. He studied at the Republican boarding school #2 of Almaty with in-depth training of the Kazakh language and literature. Since 1988, his poems and articles have been published in national journals. The winner of the Republican Olympiad in 1991 on the Kazakh language and literature.

He defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic "The idea of a united Turkestan" at the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abay (2010).
A Professor of the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilev, Istanbul University, Mimar Sinan University in Turkey. Professional Development: Cairo University in Egypt (2006), the International Institute of Linguistics in Washington, DC (2013). Passed training for civil servants.
A graduate of the State Scholarship program "Bolashak". Conducted research on the topic: Mustafa Shokai, the idea of Turkestan, figures of Alash, the Kazakh history, the personality of the Turkic world, the problems of Turkic studies, the history of literature and spirituality.
He worked in the archival collections and research libraries of cities such as Istanbul, Ankara, Kazan, Ufa, Orenburg, Baku, Tashkent, Almaty, Kokand, Samarkand, Bukhara, Cairo, Paris and Washington.
He translated into Kazakh language poetry works of the thinkers of the Turkic people. A member of international fundamental research projects and international scientific conferences, where he made reports. An author of informative collections and scientific monographs. He is a member of the editorial boards of several scientific publications, and literary and informative journals. About 300 scientific and educational and journalistic articles were published in periodicals. Works published in Turkey, the USA, Holland, France, Poland, Czech Republic, China and Russia.

2001–2005 – Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University: Research fellow, Academic Secretary, Head of the department, Chief of staff, senior research fellow.
2003–2005 – Senior research fellow of the Institute of Turkic Studies and "Bauyrzhantanu" Research Center.
2005–2006 – Associate Professor, a senior research fellow at the Lev Gumilev Eurasian National University.
2006–2007 – Deputy Director of the Presidential Center of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2007–2008 – Counsellor of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2008–2009 – Expert, Head of Sector at the Presidential Administration of Kazakhstan.
2009–2012 – Deputy Press Secretary of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2012 he was elected as the member of the Executive Board of the Union of writers of Kazakhstan.
2012–2014 – Deputy Secretary-General of the Turkic Council.
Since 2014 he has been working as President of the International Turkic Academy.
Since July 2016 he has been working as chairman of the board of the "Egemen Kazakstan" national newspaper.
