The Academy held the first scientific seminar in the "Heritage of the outstanding figures of the Turkic World" serie


Today, the International Turkic Academy (TWESCO) held a scientific seminar dedicated to the outstanding figure of Tatar people Abdurashit Ibrahim titled "The heritage of the outstanding figures of the Turkic World-1: Abdurashit Ibrahim".

Head of the Academy Darkhan Kydyrali opened the event, which was attended by well-known public figures, national intellectuals, scientists-turkologists and researchers.

At the meeting dedicated to the 160th anniversary of A.Ibrahim’s birth, famous scholar of Japan, turkologist, Professor Hisao Komatsu gave a lecture in Turkish language. 

Moreover, Prof. Komatsu, who was invited specially from Japan by the Academy, answered questions of the participants.

At the end of the seminar, D. Kydyrali thanked the Japanese scientist for his substantive lecture and presented him TWESCO’s Certificate of Appreciation “For contribution to the development of Central Asian and Turkic Studies”.

It should be noted that the Academy regularly organizes series of seminars on the "Heritage of the outstanding figures of the Turkic World" to promote the intellectuals who became the pride of the Turkic world.
