Days of Kazakhstan were held in Ankara


Within the framework of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Turkey, the Days of Kazakhstan were held in the city of Ankara, organized by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Turkey in cooperation with the city of Ankara, the municipality of Kecioren, Administrations of South Kazakhstan region and Almaty region.

Also within the cultural event, which was organized with the aim to promote International EXPO 2017 and the program on “The Course towards Future: Modernization of Public Conscience”, the name of prominent representative of Kazakh poetry, poet and writer Zhambyl Zhabayev was given to the street near the Park of famous Kazakh poet Suyunbay Aronuly in Ankara.

At the same time, within Days of Kazakhstan, an International scientific-practical conference on “The Course towards Future: Modernization of Public Conscience” dedicated to the discussion of the program-article of the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.

Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Turkey Abzal Saparbekuly, TURKSOY Secretary General Dusen Kaseinov, Mayor of the Kecioren municipality Mustafa Ak, Chairman of the Representative Council of Khoja Ahmet Yassawi University Musa Yildiz and state and public figures, intellectuals and representatives of the press of two countries participated in these festive events.

This event, which demonstrated the solidarity of fraternal countries, continued with a “Kazakhstan Evening” concert prepared by artists of the South Kazakhstan region.
