Head of the TWESCO took part in the International conference in Uzbekistan


Today, at the invitation of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, president of the International Turkic Academy (TWESCO) Darkhan Kydyrali, took part and made a report at the International conference on the "Central Asian Renaissance in the History of World Civilization" in Samarkand.

Representatives of the highest authorities of Uzbekistan, heads of international organizations such as UNESCO, OIC, ISESCO, IRCICA, diplomats, leaders of world famous museums, as well as eminent scientists participated in the international conference.

After the official opening ceremony, a plenary session was held under the moderation of ISESCO Director Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri and the President of the National Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan Behzad Yuldashev. After the plenary session, the conference continued its work in the format of four sections with the participation of over 100 well-known scientists and researchers from 27 countries.

The main goal of the conference is a deep study of the heyday of science, culture, architecture and art of the 9th-15th centuries in Central Asia, the historical significance and role of the Great Silk Road in the economic and cultural development of the region and the flourishing of scientific thought.

In this regard, the conference participants paid much attention to the analysis of the scientific heritage of such outstanding scientists and thinkers as Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, Ahmad al-Ferghani, Abu Rayhan Al-Beruni, Ibn Sina, Mirzo Ulugbek, Imam al-Bukhari and Alisher Navoi.

The organizers of the international event hope that the conference will become an important milestone in establishing close scientific ties between scientists of Uzbekistan and other countries, including the creation of international scientific teams for the joint study of the heritage of scholars of medieval Central Asia.
