A group of scholars led by the President of the International Turkic Academy D. Kydyrali met with the Akim (Governor) of the South Kazakhstan region Zhanseit Tuimebayev. During the meeting, Advisor to the Academy President Y.Isakulov, Professor K.Konkabayev, the scientist A.Toyshanov discussed the implementation issues of the President's tasks instructed in the article on "Towards the future: Modernization of Identity".

During the meeting, Zh.Tuimebayev invited scientists to take part in the research and publication of a book series on important historical objects of the region.

"As you know, the Southern region has rich history. The issues that need to be studied are more than the explored ones. That is why we should pay attention to this. I think that it is necessary to make a list of all historical and cultural places in the region, collect information about them and start publishing books. I urge you to actively participate in this pace," Zhanseit Tuimebayev said.

In the course of discussions of Turkic scientists, the need to gather scholars in the region and invite them to archaeological excavations of historical objects not studied before was noted.

In his turn, D. Kydyrali proposed to protect the historically significant place of residence of Yesim-Khan in the Tolebi district at the state level and carry out archeological researches. The head of the region, who supported the proposal, said that he will initiate holding research works and will invite scholars.

Moreover, the issue of organizing a forum of famous turkologists in the South Kazakhstan region was raised.
