Mongolian Minister of Culture Ready to Support the Academy
Today President of the International Turkic Academy (TWESCO) Darkhan Kydyrali met with Mr. Gelegpil Chuluunbaatar, the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Mongolia, in Ulaanbaatar, the Mongolian capital.
At the bilateral meeting, Dr. Kydyrali briefed Minister Chuluunbaatar on the organization's projects and shared its plans for the future. He also explained the purpose of the 3rd International Expedition "From Kentay to Ulutau: Modernization of the Historical Memory", which was organized by the Academy in Mongolia, and provided information on the route of the expedition.
Minister Chuluunbaatar, in his turn, highly appreciated the work the International Turkic Academy has done.
He expressed his readiness to strengthen relationships between the Academy and Mongolia and to support joint projects and scientific initiatives planned to be implemented in his country. Minister Chuluunbaatar wished success to the international expedition team.
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Kydyrali thanked Minister Chuluunbaatar for his high respect and appreciation and presented him valuable scientific works published by the Academy.
It’s worth mentioning that the TWESCO has signed memoranda of cooperation with leading research organizations of Mongolia and established close ties with them. In particular, thanks to the cooperation documents signed beetween the Academy and the National Academy of Sciences of Mongolia, the National Museum of Mongolia, as well as the Institute of History, Archeology at the National Academy of Sciences of Mongolia several research projects have been successfully implemented.
