Head of the Turkic Academy participated in the 6th Global Baku Forum


Head of the International Turkic Academy (TWESCO) Darkhan Kydyrali took part in the 6th Global Baku Forum titled "Bridging Gaps to Create Inclusive Societies", which opened in the capital of Azerbaijan on March 15.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva opened the Forum with a welcoming speech.


More than 500 representatives from about 60 countries took part in the three-day event. Participants of the Forum, among which were heads of states and governments, heads of international organizations, well-known public figures and scholars, together with members of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center, discussed topical issues of the world agenda.


Panel sessions such as “Power: Big Powers and the Rest”, “Re-emerging Powers”, “Regional Security, Regional Peace: The Middle East”, “Present and Future of the Balkans – Lynchpin of Regional Security or New Geopolitical Chessboard?”, “How to Understand China’s Foreign Policy”, “Capitalism: Economic Growth versus Environmental Degradation”, “The benefits and harms of the Internet” and others will be held within the framework of the Forum.

Also within the framework of the Forum, the 7th International Book Summit will be held on March 18-19.
