The Kazakhstani pyramid was reconstructed

Archeologists of Kazakhstan have completed the reconstruction of the Saryarka pyramid with 3,000-year history.

The expedition group led by the scientist I.A.Kukushkin who first discovered the pyramid and a group of specialists led by the archeologist A.Z. Beisenov participated in the reconstruction works.

Researchers believe that, according to the monumental structure of the pyramid, it could be built in honor of a khagan or a ruler of one of the strongest local tribes. At the same time, it became known that the appearance of the complex, built during the Begazy-Dandybay culture covering the 15th-10th centuries, is similar to the Egyptian pyramids.

It should be noted that the historical monument discovered in Karaganda region in August 2016 is now under the state protection.
