Representative of TWESCO took part in the reception of Japanese ambassador


The Permanent Secretary of the International Turkic Academy Askhat Kessikbayev took part in the official reception, organized by the Embassy of Japan in Astana. The event was dedicated to the birthday of the Emperor of Japan Akihito.

Japanese Ambassador to Kazakhstan Itiro Kavabata said that on December 23 his Emperor Akihito turned 85 years old, and that the relations between Kazakhstan and Japan are deepening year by year. The Ambassador also said that the term of his service in Kazakhstan will be completed. "In January next year, I will return to Japan to complete my diplomatic mission. During two years and nine months, I witnessed important events in bilateral relations between Japan and Kazakhstan. One of them is the international exhibition Astana EXPO-2017. I sincerely thank people of Kazakhstan and the diplomatic community for their support and friendship,” he said.

The Embassy of Japan in Kazakhstan and Ambassador Itiro Kavabata made a special contribution not only to the Kazakh-Japanese relations, but also to the interaction of the International Turkic Academy and Japan's scientific centers. With the support of the ambassador, TWESCO held a series of events in Japan, and Japanese scholars lectured at the Academy.
