The head of the Academy took part in the discussion of the Article of the President


President of the International Turkic Academy (TWESCO), Darkhan Kydyrali took part in a round table discussion on "The spiritual heritage of the Great Steppe", organized by Akimat of Aktobe region.

Akim of the region Berdybek Saparbayev, historian Berik Abdygaliuly, political scientist Aidos Sarym, director general of Kazinform Agency Askar Kumyran, blogger Galym Baituk and other public figures took part in the meeting. During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on significance and the implementation of initiatives proposed in the President’s article titled "Seven facets of the Great Steppe".

At the roundtable, public figures said that the article "Seven facets of the Great Steppe" would contribute a lot to restore our history and our roots. Akim of the region emphasized the significance of the event in this regard. Darkhan Kydyrali, the president of the International Turkic Academy, emphasized that not only the Turkic peoples, but also peoples of Altai, as well as Hungarians, Mongolians, and Koreans, paid special attention to the article. The article has already been translated into nine languages.

"The article accurately describes the cradle and genesis of the Turkic world and the contribution of Turks to the history of human development. Thus, we believe that the ancient heritage of Turkic-speaking peoples, originated from the Great Steppe, will become a common value," D.Kydyrali said.

In addition, the head of TWESCO visited the recently-opened Press House in Aktobe and met with local journalists. He also got acquainted with the activity of "Aktobe Media" company.
