TWESCO took part in the Award ceremony organized by the TÜRKSAV
One of the civil organizations of the Republic of Turkey - Turkish writers and art figures Society (TÜRKSAV) by its annual tradition held an international symposium and Award Ceremony "For special merits before the Turkic world".
Heads of international and national non-governmental organizations, well-known poets and writers, scientists, intellectuals and media representatives from Turkic-speaking countries participated in the event held in the ancient city of Ahlat of Bitlis province, which was the first Anatolian capital of Seljuk Turks.
At the opening ceremony of the meeting, representative of the International Turkic Academy (TWESCO), turkologist Napil Bazylkhan read a letter of congratulations of the Academy’s President Darkhan Kydyrali, in which he expressed a great interest in the work of the Symposium and wished to hold the event at a high level. In addition, he made a scientific report on "The place of Shiveet Ulaan memorial complex in the Turkic world".
The Award organized every year, and presented for contribution to the literature, art, science, education, journalism and other fields of the Turkic world, has found its owners this year too. Thus, this Award was given to Nurlan Orazalin (Kazakhstan), Aziz Sancar (Turkey), Kazım Hacimeilic (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Serhat Akpinar (Cyprus), "Kamalat Youth Movement" (Uzbekistan), "TRT Ankara Radio" (Turkey) and other members of the intelligentsia.
