Turkic Academy aims at raising cooperation with Central Asian countries to a new level

Head of the International Turkic Academy (TWESCO) Darkhan Kydyrali announced this at a Central Communications Service briefing in Astana today.

As it is known, one of the main directions of the Turkic Academy this year will be Central Asian states.

In this regard, the Academy plans to organize an archaeological expedition to Uzbekistan in 2018. Also TWESCO is currently negotiating on signing a memorandum of cooperation with the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan. It should be noted that for the first time a large delegation from Uzbekistan participated in the 2nd Forum of Human Sciences "The Great Steppe" organized by the Academy.

At the meeting journalists have discovered that many joint projects with neighboring Kyrgyz scholars are planned. Since it is the 90th anniversary of the famous writer Chingiz Aitmatov in 2018, the Turkic Academy will also celebrate this date with a wide range of international events. Now, the two-volume monograph on the writer's heritage, prepared jointly with Kyrgyz scholars, is ready for publication.

In addition, this year it is planned to hold a number of international events with the Kyrgyz people in honor of the 150th anniversary of famous manaschy Sagymbai Orazbakov.

Moreover, it was noted at the briefing that the TWESCO started carrying out joint projects with Turkmenistan and Tajikistan to promote scientific integration.
