Prime Minister of Azerbaijan highly appreciated the work of the Academy


The Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Novruz Mammadov, praised the work of the International Turkic Academy. In his interview to "Egemen Qazaqstan", the Prime Minister emphasized the TWESCO work.

In his interview, Novruz Mammadov drew attention to the issue of Turkic integration, focusing on the relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, the pragmatic policies of the two countries' leaders. The head of the Azerbaijani government noted that the institutions and structures of the Turkic integration were established at the Summit of Heads of the Turkic-speaking countries in Nakhchivan in 2009. In addition, the Prime Minister emphasized the work of the International Turkic Academy in Astana. "Since its establishment, the Turkic Academy has contributed a lot to our integration through its activities, has published fundamental books about the history, culture and traditions of Turkic peoples," Novruz Mammadov said.

The Prime Minister also noted that the VII Summit of the Turkic Council will be held in Azerbaijan, which will coincide with the 10th anniversary of signing of the Nakhchivan Agreement. The head of the Azerbaijani government said that his country would make every effort to hold the summit at a high level.
