The International Turkic Academy has established partnerships with various research institutions, centers for Turkic studies and signed memorandums of cooperation with many of them.

Turkic Academy works closely with National Academy of Science of Azerbaijan (, National Science Academy of Kyrgyz Republic (, National Science Academy of Turkey (, National Academy of Science of Turkmenistan (, Science Academy of Tatarstan (, Science Academy of Bashkortostan (, National Academy of Science of Mongolia (, Hungarian Science Academy ( and Aytmatov Bishkek International Academy.

Academy’s international cooperation is not confined only to Turkic-speaking countries. The International Turkic Academy is a member of the Brussels-based Union Academique Internationale (UAI) and signed cooperation agreements with research institutions of Russia, Asia and Europe. In particular, Academy has working relationships with the North-East Asian History Foundation of the Republic of Korea, UNESCO’s Center for the Studying of Nomadic Civilization, the Research Center for Islamic History, Art and Culture under Islamic Conference Organization, the  International Research Center for the Study of Art and Culture (IRCICA), the Russian Ethnography Museum, the Central Scientific Library of Russia, the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences and many other institutions. The International Turkic Academy acquired observer status in International Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO).

Additionally, Academy coordinates and eases the interaction and collaboration between research centers by taking the role of the Secretariat of Union of National Academy of Sciences of the Turkic world.

One of the most important duties of Academy is to establish direct contacts with established scholars and provide support for their scientific work. Today, with more than 100 foreign scholars that focus on studying different aspects of the history, culture, literature of the Turkic world Academy conducts many large-scale projects.

The International Turkic Academy aims to expand its’ global links in areas of science and education.
